Atmosphere & Cypress Hill

At the Atmosphere, Cypress Hill, and Lupe Fiasco concert in Baltimore, we had the opportunity to distribute Narcan kits to attendees and staff as part of our ongoing harm reduction work. Baltimore has long faced a serious overdose crisis, recording 1,043 substanc related deaths in 2023, with fentanyl involved in 921 of those cases. Recent data shows some progress, with overdose fatalities decreasing to around 680, a meaningful decline from previous years, though fentanyl continues to play a role in approximately 71% of those deaths. Providing Narcan at large public events like this allows us to reach new audiences, normalize overdose prevention, and ensure more people are equipped to save a life when it matters most.

We’re deeply grateful to Rhymesayers Entertainment for welcoming us and supporting our mission to expand harm reduction efforts across Baltimore. Their openness to community outreach and lifesaving education helped make this initiative possible—and together, we took another step toward building a safer, more informed community.
