Morelfest 2025 | 📍 Gettysburg, PA | Harm Reduction & Education
Our mission for 2025 is to ensure that overdose reversal medications reach communities that are often overlooked in traditional harm reduction efforts. We believe that every life matters, and that access to lifesaving tools and education should not be limited by geography, stigma, or circumstance. Our first event of the year, as Morelfest
Morel mushrooms are prized for their rich, earthy flavor and their rare, fleeting appearance each spring, symbolizing nature’s delicate cycles of renewal. Like the morel emerging from the soil after a long winter, recovery is a process of patient growth, resilience, and rediscovery.

Thanks to the generous support of our hosts and the incredible dedication of our volunteers, we were able to bring this message of hope and possibility to new spaces. Together, we are showing that with trained bystanders and readily available overdose reversal medications, we can save lives.
Morelfest was a weekend of education, culinary exploration and connection immersed in nature. One of our volunteers Erin got to embark on her first foray into the woods to look for mushrooms and edible flowers.
We want to extend a special thank you to Samantha and Drew Zimmerman at Unkle Fungus Mushrooms for their partnership and commitment to this cause, and David Hoover at Conscious Alliance Farms for sharing your beautiful event space. Their efforts have helped amplify our reach, bringing critical resources and awareness to communities that need it most.
Together we were able to distribute:
✨ 75 Overdose Reversal Medication Kits
✨ 10 Doses of Emergency Contraceptive
✨ Over 200 Drug Test Strips
